Balachandran Manavalan received his Ph.D. in Computational Biology from Ajou University in 2011 under the guidance of Prof. Sangdun Choi. Afterwards, he worked as a research fellow at the Korea Institute for Advanced Study from November 2011 to February 2017. From January 2017 to February 2022, he worked as a research fellow and research assistant professor at the Ajou University of Medical School. Since 2022.02.21, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Department of Integrative Biotechnology, Sungkyunkwan University.
